“How Much is a Gallon of Milk in Hawaii?”photo

How much is a gallon of milk in Hawaii?  It isn't cheap, that’s for sure!  But when you stay in a vacation condo with Destination Resorts Hawaii, you become part of our 'ohana (family) which gives you an edge on your neighbors at the Grand Wailea and other surrounding resorts. So if you’re planning a trip to Maui in 2013, take these things into consideration before you book.

Each guest of Destination Resorts Hawaii receives a welcome packet of savings so you can live like a local – which translates to “more hula for your moolah”!

Eating out can be expensive and Maui is no exception. As our guest, you receive $40 in dining credits to Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Tommy Bahama – to help take a bite out of the cost of eating out.

Although our vacation condo resorts are surrounded by celebrity-chef restaurants, it’s nice to have the option of eating in. Each privately-owned vacation condo comes equipped with a full kitchen, and two of our resorts feature extensive herb gardens right on site where guests are encouraged to clip to their heart's content!  The fully functional kitchen, with full size stove/oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster and a dishwasher make eating in as easy as hula pie! In addition to the restaurant certificates, each guest receives a Maika’i card for local savings at Foodland. So, when you go home and your friends ask “is milk really $9.00 a gallon?”, you can laugh and tell them "Not when you're staying with family!"

Pick up some Maui beef or fresh fish if barbecuing is your thing because unlike staying at a hotel, you have the option of grilling on your own private lanai, many of which boast panoramic views of the Pacific. So, while you’re flipping burgers you can watch the whales breach and splash off shore, or sit down to dinner just as the sun sinks into the ocean.

A drive along the famous Road to Hana is not to be missed, but after that long and winding road, you’ll want a place to unwind. Put your feet up and relax in your comfortable living room and watch a movie on the big screen TV, read a book or play a game and save the bed for later!

Comfortable and spacious living areas

Families appreciate the private bedrooms so the kids have a place of their own – with their own TV.  Whether you’re entertaining after bedtime or sleeping in while the kids are up – everyone’s got the space and privacy to make the most of their vacation.  If you're traveling with another couple, we can easily convert to a king size bed!Roomy second bedrooms

Most of us are used to having more than one bathroom so why settle for less on vacation?  Even one-bedroom condos feature two bathrooms!Spacious bathrooms

Because these are privately-owned condos, each suite has its own personal touches and although it is not required for the owners to provide beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, tennis rackets, games, dvd’s, books or toys, these items are in many units and complimentary for the guests to enjoy.

Destination Resorts Hawaii resorts are interspersed among the Grand Wailea, Fairmont Kea Lani, Wailea Marriott and Four Seasons and connected by a picturesque oceanfront beach path.  So, when you’re ready to enjoy a neighboring restaurant or spa, you’re just steps away.

We truly want you to feel “at home in the islands”.  As our guest, you’ll also enjoy free parking (generally close to your front door), free phone calls and free Wi-Fi in each condo.

Check out our current specials and when you’re ready to book your next Maui vacation, we hope you choose to stay with us. E Komo Mai! Welcome!
