What features do your vacation rentals provide?

Our vacation rentals include fully equipped kitchens, separate dining and living areas, washers and dryers, cable television, high-speed Internet service and more.

Where will I check in?

Destination Resorts Hawaii has a beautiful front desk check-in and concierge office in The Shops at Wailea, located at 3750 Wailea Alanui Drive. Our office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. seven days a week. Guests that check-in after hours are met by a security officer who helps directs them to their vacation home or condo.

Do we need to bring our own towels and linens?

No. Destination Resorts Hawaii provides luxury linens, towels and bath amenities in every vacation condo. Destination Resorts Hawaii also provides beach towels. Guests receive fresh towels delivered during our daily housekeeping service.

Will we receive housekeeping service?

Yes. Daily housekeeping service is one of the many resort services you can expect to receive when you rent a vacation home or condo through Destination Resorts Hawaii. Our daily housekeeping service includes cleaning the kitchen and loading the dishwasher, trash removal, making of beds and general cleaning as needed. In addition, every 4th day during your stay our housekeeping department completely vacuums your vacation rental, dusts all furniture and changes the bed linen.

At Grand Champion Villas and Ekolu Village we offer limited housekeeping. Limited Housekeeping is provided every third day of stay (arrival day is considered day one, day two is day after arrival, day three is third day), Destination Resorts Hawaii will provide a Linen Service (housekeepers will completely vacuum condo, change bed linens, clean lanai tabletops and floors, exchange soiled bathroom towels, restock and clean bathrooms, kitchen, load dishwasher, remove trash, sweep and mop floors, dust furniture, and clean tabletops). If the Every Third Day Linen Service falls on the day before departure, bed linens will not be changed as part of our commitment to the environment and the Destination Earth water conservation program.

Who is responsible for cleaning the condo rental at departure?

We are. We would never ask you to spoil your Maui vacation by spending your last day cleaning! In addition, by providing professional housekeeping services, we ensure that all of our guests experience the same high standards of meticulously maintained vacation condo rentals.

Is renting from Destination Resorts Hawaii the same as renting direct from a homeowner?

When you call an individual homeowner, they may only offer one home or condo to you. The owner has a vested interest in renting his home or condo but he very likely will not be readily available if you have any issues. A Destination Resorts Hawaii reservations specialist is a professional trained to listen to your needs, to fit you into a vacation rental that suits your unique requirements. Each property we manage has an operational team and maintenance on site, a front desk open daily from 8am to 9pm, and an after office hours manager on duty. Most vacationers have confidence renting from Destination Resorts Hawaii because of the reputation they have established under the same managing director for the past 20 years. Individual homeowners may live very far away, and are unable to provide the level of service we are able to easily maintain. Destination Resorts Hawaii is also available to arrange rental cars, grocery delivery, and concierge services prior to arrival.

Are vacation rentals the same as a time-share?

No they are not. Vacation rentals are privately owned, fully furnished homes or condos. When renting a Maui condo or vacation home from a Destination Resorts Hawaii, you are provided many options and a much greater variety of accommodation types and sizes. Timeshares are fully furnished accommodations that have been sold up to 50 times, each purchaser buying a certain amount of time. Timeshare rentals are also more restrictive with dates, for example, stays may be allowed only from Saturday to Saturday. Destination Resorts Hawaii does not sell, manage or represent any timeshare or fractional vacation rentals.
