I’ve said it before, there’s more to Maui than beautiful beaches. I get it. You’ve dreamed about swaying palm trees bowing to the azure sea and the spectacular colors as the sun dips into the Pacific and transforms the sky into psychedelic hues – and when you stay with Destination Resorts Hawaii you won’t be disappointed! After all that IS the quintessential Maui and the main reason millions of people vacation on Maui year after year. But after a few days on the beach, do yourself a favor and take a drive Upcountry! 

We stayed in F112 in April after 8 days in West Maui. We absolutely loved Makena Surf. The resort is beautiful. Loved the herbs for Bar-B-Qing. If you are looking a the best view and snorkeling out front look no further (if it is in your price range).

As for the condo....the view from kitchen and patio incredible. The patio doors disappeared into the wall and that MADE the condo. The patio furniture was nice and very comfortable.
Inside the condo, everything from the stairs down had very nice furnishings. The part of the condo above the stairs was fine just not as nice as below. Fine for us just not as up to date as kitchen area. The murphy bed in the den was not comfortable but the rest of the beds were very nice. WiFi worked very well. Location was nice as we did not want to be right on the beach. Liked the grass out front instead.

The hotel was great, service was excellent, location was unbelievable. We are going to return again for sure.

Unit 153 - 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large living room/dining room, two HD flat screen TV's and a lanai that faces a spectaculor sunset every night - what better way to spend a family vacation! We could not have asked for more! I'd buy this condo if it was for sale in a heart-beat!

An incredible vacation rental! The location is amazing--close to beach, airport, golf courses and endless Hawaiian vacation activities. Very family oriented with nice pool, lanais, grills...
I could live here!
