"With the magnificent Pacific views and elegant Maui condos along the beach, our stay here was magical."
“Prince Kuhio Day”
Prince Kuhio Day is an official holiday in the state of Hawaii, celebrated annually on March 26 to mark the birth of Prince Jonah Kūhiō Kalanianaʻole. He is best known as the “Prince of People”, dedicating his life to the future well-being of his people.
“Family-Friendly Ekahi in Maui”
This past week I had the opportunity to visit two units in the Wailea Ekahi Resort which I thought were pretty amazing. While taking photographs of the interior and lanai, I noticed a father and son playing catch in one of the grassy areas separating the low-rise buildings that make up this property. Although this resort is in the upscale Wailea neighborhood, it has a relaxed, family-oriented feel to it.
“Maui College Student Blogs About Destination Resorts Hawaii”
Aloha all! My name is Maria Juarez, also known as Vicky. I am a current, almost-graduate student, from the Hospitality and Tourism program from Maui College. Apart from being a full time student I have been learning about photography and have found a new passion for it. Whether it is shooting portraits, landscape or real estate - as a career or a hobby - photography will always be a part of my life.
“Maui County Agricultural Festival”
It’s fast approaching – the annual event where you can talk story with the local people who grow the food that ends up on our grocery store shelves, restaurant menus and our very own dinner tables!
Mark your calendar for April 6, 2013 and plan to spend the afternoon on the lush grounds of Maui Tropical Plantation – one of the magical Maui locations that visitors often miss – and bring along the family and your appetite!
“Visit Strawberry Fields in Hawaii”
This March, head Upcountry to the cool mountain air and pick your own strawberries at Kula Country Farms with this unique activity on Maui.
Look for the farm stand behind a sea of giant sunflowers and be sure to buy a jar of fresh Maui honey! Children can learn about “Bees and what they do” in the Children’s Garden and bring along your appetite and try some of their Strawberry Shortcake and other strawberry desserts they will have on hand.
