Well, its our last day here in paradise (for this season) and we just had to tell everyone how impressed we are with the Destination crew. We had some noise issues and we were taken care of so well and so quickly. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. “Year of the Dragon Celebrated in Wailea, Maui”
Chinese New Year was celebrated by both local residents and Maui visitors at the Shops at Wailea last night with Shaolin Martial Arts mastery, the traditional Lion Dance and the Feeding of the Lions.

Love is in the air with Valentine's day approaching, but nowhere more than on Maui – the perfect place to “get Maui’d” or spend a honeymoon. Stunning sunsets and secluded beach coves provide the most popular backdrops as couples exchange lei (traditionally, pikake for the bride and maile for the groom), to symbolize their eternal love. For some, close friends and family members make the journey to the islands to share in the celebration while others exchange their vows in a private, romantic ceremony.
The exotic landscape resonates with many who embrace all or part of a traditional Hawaiian wedding ceremony with an accompaniment of ukulele music, or the blowing of the conch shell (or pu) to announce the bride’s arrival and call to the earth, sea, air and fire as witnesses.
“Ekahi Gardens are the Best”
Spent my very first visit to Maui in Ekahi in 1985. Just had to stay there again and the gardens get better with age.
“Condo 1703 - Great Experience”
Spent a very nice 3 days in Condo #1703 in Wailea's Ekolu Village. The condo was exactly as described with all the amenities working perfectly (including free WiFi). The location was great with parking right in front and no steps to climb.
“Unit 18D is Beautiful”
This condo complex has gorgeous landscaping and views, and is a short walk from Keawakapu beach which is a superb beach for snorkelling or swimming, very pretty, and less crowded than many other beaches in the area.

What a fantastic place to stay. Our updated condo was extremely well-kept and comfortable, with a killer ocean view.

Arrival was lovely, complete with leis and cold drinks. Staff very helpful. Lodging was perfect! Service was impeccable! Definitely exceeded our expectations.
