Event Calendar

Leading up to the Pacific Whale Foundations Whale Day, this event is open to runners and walkers, adults and kids, residents and visitors who are all invited to take part in this popular race -- one of Maui's largest fun runs and walking events. The Run and Walk for the Whales course includes ocean views -- you might even see a whale or two breaching in the distance!

Choose from the 5K walking event, 5K running race, 10K walking event, 10K running race, half marathon walking event, half marathon running race and 2K running race for kids.

Starting line and post-run festivities will take place in Makena, in South Maui.  Water and aid stations and musical entertainment will be located along course. 

Medallions, lei and free whalewatch tickets awarded to top male and female overall in 5K, 10K and half marathon. Age group medallions will be awarded in 5K Run, 10K Run and half marathon run. Keiki race will award medallions to the “boy top finisher” and “girl top finisher.” All runners and walkers will be entered into prize drawings.
