Nu’u Bay Adventure Hike w/ archaeologist
Experience spectacular views of the Kaupo coastline; ancient cultural sites; native birds & more in Hawaiian Islands Land Trust Nu’u preserve. This 3-mile round trip hike takes place in the Kaupo area (between Makena and Hana).
Expect rugged trails over rough lava flow areas. Participants will meet at 8:30 am at Pukulani Terrace shopping center (by ACE) and carpool to Kaupo. Bring hat, water, lunch, and sturdy hiking shoes. Limit 15. A donation of $5 ($3 for Sierra Club Members) is requested of all hikers over 14 years of age.
