Jake Shimabukuro is renowned the world over for lightning-fast fingers and revolutionary playing techniques on Hawai‘i’s signature instrument, the ‘ukulele. Jake, who was declared a musical “hero” by Rolling Stone magazine, has earned comparisons to Jimi Hendrix and Miles Davis and has performed for the Queen of England. In 2012, he released Grand ‘Ukulele, an ambitious follow-up to 2011’s Peace, Love, ‘Ukulele which debuted at #1 on Billboard’s World charts. On this record, Jake collaborated with legendary producer/engineer Alan Parsons, best known for his work on Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon and The Beatles’ Abbey Road.
