    Kalo (Taro) Workshop

    July 12th 10am - 12 pm. Learn about the unique varieties and extraordinary significance of taro with farmer, Hōkūao Pellegrino! Try your hand at pounding poi and taste it fresh from the Gardens! Space is limited and a workshop fee applies. 

    Introduction to Kapa Dye Making:

    July 19th 9am - 1pm. Join kapa maker, Lisa Schattenburg-Raymond, to learn about the many Hawaiian plants that produce dyes for kapa. Discover processing techniques as well as natural additives used to manipulate color. Space is limited and a workshop fee applies.

    Awa (Kava) Workshop:

    July 26th 10am - 12pm. Learn about the many varieties and cultural importance of ‘awa with respected cultural practitioner and Kumu Hula, Kapono‘ai Molitau.  Space is limited and a workshop fee applies
