My wife and I have recently returned from a visit to Maui in which we stayed at the Polo Beach Club for eight wonderful days. We would like to call to your attention some unusually good service we received while there. First, we needed more room in the second bedroom closet for our granddaughters who were coming. The Executive Housekeeper was very accommodating and was able to clear out the closet while explaining to us that certain things had to be left there as belonging to the owners. She was very diplomatic and helpful. Then our air conditioning went out on a Sunday afternoon. Two young men appeared at 8:10 am the next morning and had it fixed in ten minutes (it was a faulty interlock switch on the glass doors leading to the patio). We are not used to such prompt service. In your concierge office located at the Shops at Wailea, we received wide-ranging and expert help involving snuba-diving, a luau, and dinner arrangements. They saved us much grief and showed us where to spend our money wisely. Being military, we believe that a good outfit reflects the commander's qualities. Obviously, you run a good ship!
